Bakery Machine Operator is responsible for performing machine set-ups to start a production cycle. They are responsible to verify packaging matches product specifications and monitor the quality of all finished products.
Be responsible for machine set up and change overs and running productions lines as needed for various baked goods.
Read work orders and specifications to define specific set up operations.
Troubleshoot equipment problems and support preventative maintenance activities to reduce equipment issues and forced production stoppages.
Provide input for action plans for their equipment area.
Work with Plant Engineers and Supervisors to enhance processes.
Work closely with all production team members to ensure product quality.
Strong Organizational skills and ability to multi-task
Ability to understand and effectively communicate in English
Able to operate material handling equipment including electric pallet jacks and manual hand jacks, etc.
