    Description

    The Engineering and Maintenance Manager will be responsible for overseeing, directing, and leading the maintenance team and the day-to-day operations of the maintenance department. This position is also responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the site's business goals and objectives.

    Qualifications

    *20+ years maintenance management experience, food production preferred.
    *Industrial manufacturing maintenance experience, preferably in the food industry.
    *Technical certification or degree preferred.
    *Strong preference for experience with electrical, pneumatic, mechanical and PLC troubleshooting.
    *Strong experience in Auto CAD, Allen Bradley logic.
    *Overtime and weekend schedules may be required.
    *Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
    *Must be authorized to work in the United States

    Job Responsibilities includes:
    *Assist in performing preventative and urgent maintenance of production machinery and equipment;
    *Assist in performing routing maintenance of production machines and equipment;
    *Perform building maintenance as needed;
    *Regularly Clean and Lubricate machinery;
    *Regularly inspect plant equipment and moving parts;
    *Repair or replace defective equipment parts;
    *Maintain clean and organized work area;
    *Knowledge of welding, plumbing and pneumatic;
    *Knowledge of refrigeration equipment - maintenance and repair;
    *Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and blueprints;
    *Working knowledge of three phase motors, programmable controls, circuits, computer interfaces
    and National Electrical Code;
    *Perform electrical trouble shooting up to 480 volts;
    *Minimum of 5 years of industrial experience in electrical or mechanical support functions.
    *Must be knowledgeable of OSHA Safety Requirements, especially those related to electrical and mechanical
    operations and components.
    High School Diploma/equivalent or completion of technical school or equivalent in training, experience and education.
    English/Spanish bilingual is a plus.
